This is the cabin and the rock! Who knows why they picked this particular spot to put the house, next to a large boulder and as you can see, the remnants of a rather large tree.
How it started
On August 12, 2017, Michael and I traveled to Gloucester, MA to look at a piece of land. Michael’s friend, Anita, had purchased a plot of land, about 2 acres, with a small house and 3 wood cabins built in 1920. I had no intentions of buying anything until I saw the land and the nearby Plum Cove. The parcel we selected had a small cabin, about 500 sq feet, very rustic. The parcel was just under 15,000 square feet (about 1/3 acre). The building was a derelict, not habitable, but it had potential.
